IntegraMOD 141 Public Beta RC5 is released!

We are happy to announce the release of the Public Beta RC5 for IntegraMOD 141. This means it is the fourth beta, there may be more before a final release. You can download the new beta from the download link at the bottom of this post.

BEFORE YOU INSTALL -
The Beta release is for the purposes of finding and fixing issues before the final release. This means IT IS NOT for installing for use in a website for public use. DO NOT use it as such. NO SUPPORT will be given for any website running the beta. The purpose of the public beta is to increase the chance of finding faults, bugs and issues before the final release and thus making it more stable for final release.

The following changes have been made. These are not all of the changes, only a few highlights.

The cash mod, fap and ctracker are really something.....

just have to let Teelk know that cback have just upgraded to 5.0.1 which I tested today and pretty impressive stuff...

x2 on the php5 compatibility. My old shared host with Ipower is killing me. Just can't handle the resource consumption of my forums. Can't browse the site for more than 10 minutes it seems without the site going down. Lost about 50% of my weekly logins in the last 6 months because people get tired of slow page loads and all that razz.

So i'm definitely looking forward to it <img> I would have just switched hosts or something but I felt like we were closer than we were when I originally discovered the problem.

A very small mistake...

The image http://integramod.com/forum/templates/I ... v_ltop.gif which is on the top right of the qbar menu just under the intergramod2 banner is not correct: it should be closing the line...

this was fixed at one time but through the many modifications it looks to be overwritten. You can just copy the integra2/index_box.tpl to fisubice.

View one of the subscription groups using the Memberlist link you see the member of the group and there is link to join that group.

that link is missing and you have to follow the link to lwtopup.php and go thru there

your avitar shows up for me in FF. I had to uninstall IE 7.0 because it was conflicting with some other more important software, so i cant check in IE atm

Not sure if its related but IE can show images if they appear in some nested html tags... Can't remember which ones but I do remember having to change the code in one template to display images... Mike

that is IM (or maybe it's the browser) trying to interpret and run code which it should not be running.

There are two issues I see with it I thought would be resolved in the upgrades.

1) When required fields are added to the profile it does bring up the window with links for the user to fill in these fields but when the links are clicked they are taken to a generic area of the profile. Why can't the links go directly to the page with or the field that needs addressed. The profile is already a bit confusing but for a newcomer very much so.

2) When a group is setup as a pay group it does nothing to let the user know they must pay to be a member of the group and so far I can't even get the group to show a join link for that option to even work. We are setting up a pay section of our site for members but this did not work in 1.40 and I do not see how to make it work in this version either.

I suppose my reason for posting would be to find out if anyone has either of those working now or ever has because as I said they did not work before. I personally don't see a reason to incorporate a mod that is partially working into a new setup. I am hoping for the uniqueness of it all working unlike some of the other softwares out there being tweaked and worked on in the midst of Olympus. I for one don't mind waiting and contributing my fair share for the hard work but hope it will be less than beta after it is released. As you know there has been many releases of softwares with included mods that were still more than beta when it went live.

Thanks guys and I do know you all have been working hard on it as can be. I just need to know what to expect as we need ceratain features and need a direction to focus on.

No word as far as I know. Umm, I think a week or so ago I posted about this and they said they were working on a chmodder script and the upgrade path right now. Seems to me like they must be running into some problems but that's just my opinion. Usually doesn't take quite this long for the final to come out.

But then again, I'm happy because I found a PHP4 server to move my site to so I'm finally on a new server running under 2 second pageloads <img> niccceee
