I want to update my portal, 2.0.20 to latest version.
When I try to do this I get an error, I think it is related to the phpBB_security version,
How, (where) can I see the version off My phpBB_security file?
In the admin Index, I have the 2.0.21 reported, because I install the premodded files before, but I had errors so I reinstall old files (2.0.20) <img> ) what should I do?

When you updated last time did you update security to 1.0.3? If not that is your issue and secutrity needs updated. BUT Tweaks site is down, gone or something right now. I dont know who or whre you can get it from anymore.

But I have some errors...
1. The PhpBB Security Status tha appear on top of Admin Index say- Sorry, I was unable to get version data at this time. Please try later.

And I noticied no changes....
No login security...

First I can't run the ps-upgrade, but I change the permissions, and I run It, I get some errors.

Error: Duplicate entry 'phpBBSecurity_guest_matches' for key 1
INSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_value) VALUES ('phpBBSecurity_use_password_match', '1');

Error: Duplicate entry 'phpBBSecurity_use_password_match' for key 1

I use Mozilla, I cannot run scripts in the IE

Well, I cant move this topic, but someone can and will if needs be Im sure. The reason you are getting the message about cant find version error is because phpbb-tweaks.com is down right now.

The other errors Im not sure about. Mine went away as soon as I updated. May I respectfully suggest to check your edits one more time and please copy your exact errors you are getting so we can narrow it down and help you some

Duplicate entry error just means that those tables/fields are already in the DB, usually nothing to worry about.

The updates need to be done in the correct order.

2.0.17 -> 2.0.18
2.0.18 -> 2.0.19
phpBB Security 1.0.2 -> 1.0.3
2.0.19 ->2.0.20
2.0.20 ->2.0.21
2.0.21 ->2.0.22

If you used premodded files, it's an easy fix if you didn't do them in the right order. Just start at 2.0.19, use the premodded files, then use the premodded files from phpBB Security update, then from 2.0.20. Then if you want to update from there, you can continue to use the premodded files, and just use the update_to_latest.php from the most recent update package.

Teelk, Im glad you stepped in on this one chief. I got a board that is .17 still and JUST now applying all phpbb updates and I allready have 1.0.3 secutrity installed how will this affect me order wise if at all? I did all the upgardes to another site of mine way back when and all was fine BUT i didnt have secutirty 1.0.3 installed allready either though.

what is the folder "iu" , inside the admin templates folder, for?
Do I have to change any permissions ?
Is any server config sets that could forbiden the Mod

If you're using premodded files it's very simple if the order's been done wrong. Just upload the premodded files from each package, one after the other(in the order from my previous post), since you've already run ps_upgrade.php don't worry about this file, just run the latest update_to_latest.php file from the 2.0.22 package after you've uploaded all files.

Hmmm... that folder shouldn't exist, for some reason it's in the phpBB Security update, but it's a mistake. It can be deleted.

You won't really see many differences in the board. It's just an update to phpBB Security from version 1.0.2 to 1.0.3, there should only be a few more options in the Security section of the ACP.

Nope, that is not part of phpBB Security, that's the CrackerTracker MOD which comes with IM 141.

Did you redo the updates in the correct order.
2.0.17 -> 2.0.18
2.0.18 -> 2.0.19
phpBB Security 1.0.2 -> 1.0.3
2.0.19 ->2.0.20
2.0.20 ->2.0.21
2.0.21 ->2.0.22

Also check the the ACP in Fisubice as the updates only hold updates for that theme

I did the updates again And every thing is working.
I just have to update my lang_main file to see the instructions in Portuguese!
