Ok I've updated now too, No issues.

The update is easy and most of the edits in the upgrade "update_v503_to_v504.txt"
(this is the file that would apply to our forum) are already done for us.

Upgrade is easy, 5 min.

I agree!

So far the only thing this update misses in 141 is in the hacks list.
You will have to edit the CrackerTracker entry with the proper version numbers.

Use this fix only if you have updated to ver. 5.0.4

Moving forums around after using the forum restore feature]------------------------------------------
#
/phpBB2/admin/admin_forums_extend.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
include($phpbb_root_path . 'common.'.$phpEx);

Note] line seems be moved, I found it easer to be compatible with our ver 5.0.3 work for integra. I have patched using this format and it is working.

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
define('IN_PHPBB', 1);

#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#
define('CT_SECLEVEL', 'MEDIUM');
$ct_ignorepvar = array('desc');

#
#-----[ SAVE/CLOSE ALL FILES ]------------------------------------------
#
# EoM

Old Line: including version 5.0.3 patches
$ct_ignorepvar = array('create','delete','name','icon');

New Line:
$ct_ignorepvar = array('create','delete','name','icon','desc');

If anyone is interested in having the debug log still open the old way.

open /phpBB2/ctracker/logfiles/.htaccess

Add to the bottom "allow from your IP".

example:

order deny,allow
deny from all
allow from localhost 127.0.0.1
allow from 142.142.142.19

You can also allow an IP range or allow an IP range by CIDR number
If you need use it this way it's a security hole, so when your finished working with CT you should rem that allow statement with # untill you need it again.

example]#allow from 55.76.0.0/12[/color]

*** EDIT ***

When you wish to delete the debug log file trough admin you will need to chmod the log file.

/ctracker/logfiles/logfile_debug_mode.txt <-- permissions settings chmod 666.

Hey, jomasaco are you getting this one?
The .script won't give the array. Plus it's "GET" and not "POST" I don't understand CT going off at all for this.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Script-Filename: /phpBB2/admin/admin_pa_ug_auth.php
----------------

Request-Method: GET

Possible solution:
------------------

#
#-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------
#
/phpBB2/admin/admin_pa_ug_auth.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
include($phpbb_root_path . 'common.'.$phpEx);

#
#-----[ BEFORE, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#
define('CT_SECLEVEL', 'MEDIUM');
$ct_ignoregvar = array('');

#
#-----[ SAVE/CLOSE ALL FILES ]------------------------------------------
#
# EoM

I think i covered all the possible edits but i cannot change the name of an established catagory ...
I did the edit in admin_forum_extend.php .... added after define('IN_PHPBB', 1);
define('CT_SECLEVEL', 'low');
$ct_ignorepvar = array('create','delete','name','icon','desc');

What's next ... BTW i did not update to v5.0.4

define('CT_SECLEVEL', 'low');

this is case sensitive...use

define('CT_SECLEVEL', 'LOW');

Thanks, that did the trick ... and adding it right after "define('IN_PHPBB', 1);" The debug mode logfile said to add it right before "require('./pagestart.' . $phpEx);" did not work ....
Thanks again

Yes as you posted,
BTW i did not update to v5.0.4

The versions both do it a little different. I'm finding no issues using the old way and as long as your care full with that. any fix on this version should work on yours.

Not for 5.0.4, have you have upgraded to this version or running the one in the package? either way give this a look over makes it easer.
