Integramod + AD&R

Heyo,

Started working on AD&R. Getting it to mostly run was fairly easy. Here's how it is locally:

Yeah getting it to run is not bad at all. I have done it on a dozen or more websites including using PCP integrations as well. I gave up when all the new SQL and php updates started coming out. I can pinch and poke and make code work but updating and coding from scratch, NOPE. lol Stuff gets deprecated and new stuff added so often I just can't keep up with the times.

I imagine you will get it working real nice and upgraded. I have faith!

Yes, I have kept the files you sent me for AD&R+PCP. I have not looked into them yet.

I had added several things to EzArena to help development, and now I'm missing it in Integramod.
I'm adding them back as I go, we'll see if I end up pulling them into Integramod itself, or keep them in Integramod+AD&R.

That will be interesting to say the least when you get it all in order. I have always had a virtual host installed so I could go in and beat the boredom with some AD&R adventures. Always enjoyed it. I have Rabbitoshi installed as well with battle integrated. I don't fear injection issues since it is virtual on my local machine anyhow. It is enjoyable for me still at 45 years young.

I integrated a bad @ss html template with AD&R as well as the forum and my main html site. The blog mod is installed as well for taking my own notes (I have my wife update monsters and map for me so I do not know where it all is and what to do). It is real nice. I need to get some screenshots for you of it.

I mean not to forget, we will have to find the original archive for all the ADR mods so we can stitch together the language files.

I'm sitting in the hospital now but when I get home, I have a folder with literally all but every single AD&R mod ever made. I can easily get that you.

It contains almost every Shadowtek mod, all the mods from Ozzies World and all the various mods from Seto Blokes original website. Its almost 900 megs worth.

Perfect! I'll fix the PHP7+ bugs first, but I think I'm bound to find some interesting updates for already installed mods as well as the english language files for the ones that are currently installed.

Awesome! I really hope there is some stuff there that will help you out man. I always tried to keep everything I got my hands on even if it was just a note on a mod or somethinging, or a snippet someone posted as a fix.

Here's what the ACP looks like now:



I coded ACP modes that way. Clicking on "mode ADR" only reloads the left pane, into this:



It's not the prettiest ever, but it does the job.
Also I coded it so we can add any other modes if we want to.

Helter, Shoroso is a premod I uploaded but have never worked on, I don't remember the author exactly.

As per the other post, I'm trying my best to get back to as regular as I can be. I have begun making regular rounds to some of the old stomping rounds lately. Trying to make a daily thing of it again unless life has other plans for the day here and there.

I was trying to get a message to Ven some time back about the situation as well but I read he had login issues at phpBB Refugees. I did too after a minor scuffle about me using a VPN.

FWIW I do plan to revive this when we get IM1.5 working with PHP 8 (it might be worth calling it IM1.6 at least lol). But I expect upgrading AD&R itself to PHP8 will also be a headache...

Yah. I would say if you can get it solid on php8 and we can vet a better captcha I will go almost ground up on a responsive default style. I’ve learned a lot with the BS_ styles for phpBBx2. They are way better than other phpbb2x templates but still not quite good enough. I also will work on QMENU to have responsive dropdowns. I was almost there awhile ago but got sidetracked on the sessions bug on phpbb2x
